PERSONAL STATEMENT
Media, specifically the medium of film, can be so much more than just an experience for an audience member. It is an opportunity for the filmmaker(s) to engage an audience with insight on a given subject that encourages, uplifts, challenges and suggests. My academic and professional accomplishments highlight my commitment to take on such a responsibility within the rewarding work of a Screenwriter and Filmmaker.

·      Completed a feature-length documentary showcasing a three-week time period of the participants’ summer literacy program

·      Documentary screened at various community events and aired on the Public Access Channel in 2009

·      Develop communication and relationship with Moulton Extended Learning Center staff; track required school data for all gender specific program participants; communicate concerns to Gender Specific Program Director
